Where we are located
LPManor Independent and Assisted Living is located in Downey, CA, a city that is known for its quiet and safe community. Historically, it is one of the oldest communities in Southern California, founded in the post-Civil War days. The community is especially proud of its history and how it has shaped the city over the years. Right down the street from our home you can find the world’s oldest McDonalds restaurant and the site of the first Taco Bell eatery. The city of Downey is 12 miles southeast of the Los Angeles Civic Center. We are only five miles from Orange County, and about 10 miles from the beautiful Pacific coastline. We are also conveniently located near several major freeways. The city can be conveniently reached by any of four freeways: Interstate 105 with its Metro rail line passes through the southern part of the city, Interstate 5 and Interstate 605 pass along the eastern side, and Interstate 710 passes just west of the city.

How to get here
From Los Angeles
- Take US-101 South for 3 miles
- US-101 South becomes I-5 South, follow for 7 miles
- Merge onto Lakewood Blvd using Exit 125
- Lakewood Park Manor is 2.5 miles ahead on the right side of the road
From Anaheim
- Follow I-5 North towards Loas Angeles for 10 miles
- Take the Imperial Highway, Exit 122, toward Pioneer Blvd and turn left
- After .5 miles take a slight right onto Firestone Blvd
- Travel 1.5 miles and turn left onto Stuart and Gray Road
- After 1 mile, turn left onto Lakewood Blvd and we are located on your right
